1.奧運(yùn)

奧林匹克運(yùn)動(dòng)會(huì)發(fā)源于兩千多年前的古希臘，因舉辦地在奧林匹亞而得名。每四年一屆，是世界上影響力最大的體育盛會(huì)。受新冠肺炎疫情的影響，2020年東京奧運(yùn)會(huì)延期一年，于2021年舉行。在此屆奧運(yùn)會(huì)中，中國運(yùn)動(dòng)員在射擊、體操、乒乓球、跳水、舉重等多項(xiàng)運(yùn)動(dòng)項(xiàng)目中勇奪數(shù)金。奧運(yùn)健兒們在比賽中展現(xiàn)了自強(qiáng)不息、頑強(qiáng)拼搏的精神，完美地詮釋了競技比賽的魅力。

The Olympic Games originated more than two thousand years ago in Ancient Greece and were named after Olympia, where they were held. 2.琴棋書畫

中國人最懂得消遣，中國從前的讀書人，閑暇時(shí)間以琴棋書畫作為消遣。在中國人看來，藝術(shù)品的好壞，意味著作者人格的高低，所以彈琴、下棋、寫字和繪畫，都代表著一個(gè)人的修養(yǎng)。彈琴不是要做音樂家，而是隨著美妙的琴聲，進(jìn)入一個(gè)遼闊的世界，凈化自己的心靈。下棋不是為了勝負(fù)，而是磨練耐性和使人眼光遠(yuǎn)大。寫字不僅是把字寫漂亮，同時(shí)也是為了陶冶情操。繪畫則是借著畫面上的簡單線條，表現(xiàn)自己的想象的世界。

Chinese people have the best idea about recreation. Scholars of ancient times enjoyed themselves through music, chess, calligraphy and painting in their leisure time. In the eyes of the Chinese people, the quality of the artifacts is a reflection of the character of the creator. Thus, playing musical instruments, playing chess, writing calligraphy or painting show ones culture. By playing music, one does not aim to be a musician but to enter a broader world, purifying ones soul in the beautiful music. By playing chess, one does not aim to be the winner but to cultivate patience and foresight. By calligraphy, one aims not only to write beautifully but also to improve his mind. Through painting, one expresses an imaginary world with simple lines.

3.朝代

漢朝建于公元前202年，是中國歷史上存在時(shí)間最長的朝代之一，分為西漢與東漢兩個(gè)階段。漢朝被稱為黃金時(shí)代，在經(jīng)濟(jì)、文化、藝術(shù)和科技等各個(gè)方面均創(chuàng)造了輝煌的文明。漢朝奠定了漢民族的民族文化，西漢所尊崇的儒家思想（Confucianism）成為中國的主流思想。在西漢時(shí)期，商業(yè)貿(mào)易蓬勃發(fā)展，絲綢之路（the Silk Road）的開辟就是一個(gè)重要的經(jīng)濟(jì)成就。技術(shù)進(jìn)步也是漢朝的重要成就，中國兩個(gè)偉大發(fā)明，造紙和瓷器（porcelain）是在這一時(shí)期發(fā)展起來的。220年東漢滅亡，漢朝統(tǒng)治結(jié)束。

Han Dynasty, founded in 202 BC, was one of the longest dynasties in Chinese history. It was divided into two periods: the Western Han Dynasty and the Eastern Han Dynasty. Considered a golden age, Han Dynasty created a glorious civilization in various aspects, including economy,culture, art as well as science and technology, etc. Han Dynasty laid a foundation for the ethnic culture of the Han Nationality, and Confucianism respected by the Western Han Dynasty became the mainstream ideology of China. Business and trade flourished during the Western Han Dynasty, with the opening of the Silk Road as an important economic achievement. Technological advances were also great achievement in this period. It was during this time that two great Chinese inventions, papermaking and porcelain, were developed. In 220,the Eastern Han Dynasty collapsed and the ruling of Han Dynasty ended.

4.烏鎮(zhèn)

烏鎮(zhèn)是浙江的一座古老水鎮(zhèn)，坐落在京杭大運(yùn)河河畔。這是一處迷人的地方，有許多古橋、中式旅店和餐館。在過去一千年里，烏鎮(zhèn)的水系和生活方式并未經(jīng)歷多少變化，是一座展現(xiàn)古文明的博物館。烏鎮(zhèn)所有房屋都用石木建筑。數(shù)百年來，當(dāng)?shù)匮刂舆吔ㄆ鹆俗≌图?。無數(shù)寬敞美麗的庭院藏身于屋舍之間，游客們每到一處都會(huì)有驚喜的發(fā)現(xiàn)。

Wuzhen is an ancient "Waterside" in Zhejiang, located in the bank of Jing Hang Canal. This is a charming place where there are many old bridges, hotels in Chinese style and restaurants. Over the past 1,000 years, there were no obvious changes in the water systems and lifestyles in Wuzhen, which is a museum that shows the ancient civilizations. All buildings in Wuzhen are built by stones and woods. For hundreds of years, local people have built up houses and markets along the riverside. 5.互聯(lián)網(wǎng)

互聯(lián)網(wǎng)已經(jīng)成為人們獲取信息的重要途徑?；ヂ?lián)網(wǎng)進(jìn)入中國后，中國的廣播電臺(tái)、電視臺(tái)就開始利用其資源優(yōu)勢和品牌優(yōu)勢開展網(wǎng)絡(luò)新聞傳播(dissemination)，滿足人們對新聞信息的巨大需求。目前已建成了一批綜合新聞信息服務(wù)網(wǎng)站，不僅增加了權(quán)威新聞信息傳播的廣度,為傳統(tǒng)媒體自身發(fā)展拓展了新的空間，也逐漸成為人們獲取新聞信息的重要渠道。
