官方認(rèn)證比較有效隔絕病毒的口罩有兩種：

一種是N95口罩

另一種是外科醫(yī)用口罩

一、對于學(xué)英語的人，那口罩用英語該怎么說呢？

01.N95口罩

N95 mask / respirator

respirator/respretr/ n. 防毒面具；人工呼吸機；口罩

N代表Not resistant to oil （非耐油），可用于防護非油性懸浮微顆粒

95代表“能夠過濾95%或者以上的直徑大于0.3微米的顆?！?/p>

02.外科醫(yī)用口罩

大多都為一次性，不需要清洗，使用也比較方便，相較于民用口罩，對呼吸道疾病的防護作用更加明顯。

當(dāng)然在意境明確的情況下使用 mask 是沒有問題的，比如說明星走機場經(jīng)常帶著口罩，就可以說 stars always wear masks at the airport.

除了這兩種，還有其它一些常見的口罩，比如：活性炭口罩（activated carbon mask）和 棉布口罩（cotton mask）。

紗布口罩：gauze [ɡ??z] mask

棉布口罩：cotton mask

03.還有一個容易搞混的詞是 face mask,很多人都以為是口罩，雖然face mask有口罩的意思，但最常見的意思其實是面膜。

比如說睡前敷一張面膜就可以說apply a face mask before going to sleep。
